About Us BAE Wire & Insulation began operation in Sarasota, Florida in 2000. After a decade of steady growth and with warehouse space rapidly diminishing, the need for a larger facility became evident. In 2012 BAE built a brand new state of the art distribution center and moved its operations to the new 10,000 square foot facility in Bradenton, Florida. Located at the juncture of Interstate 75 and State Road 70, the facility serves as an optimal hub for shipping as well as a convenient location for customer access. BAE ownership and staff have over 50 years combined experience in sales, customer service and distribution. BAE serves the electrical, electronic, motor repair, transformer, generator and coil winding industries as well as OEM and assembly markets by providing copper magnet wire, hook up wire and a wide range of insulation products. Through our relationships with vendors of quality products manufactured and certified to the latest worldwide standards and offered at economical prices we enable our customers to be more profitable and competitive in their own markets. BAE also provides value added services such as special packaging and labeling as well as custom put up sizes.
